CoST Malawi launched its Assurance Report for 2019 in Lilongwe at an invent that was attended by government, private sector and civil society representatives.
Among the issues of concern which the report raised include delays, poor designs and lack of competition factors which are said to be among the causes for cost and time overruns and other attendant project mismanagement issues.
Stakeholders expressed worry of the issues of concern, the low level of disclosure and agreed to collaborate more to address the issues highlighted in the report.
